Levnadsbeskrivning

Sophia Poling was born June 1, 1912 in Mullan, Idaho, and passed away March 24, 2012 at the Evergreen Hospice Center, five days after suffering a stroke. Vera married Woody Poling in 1935, and they spent most of their lives in the Puget Sound area. They moved to Monroe, Wash. in 1998, and following Woody’s death that same year she became very active with the Monroe Senior Center, spending many days a week there enjoying all the activities they have to offer. She spent the last days of her life doing what she loved best; playing cards and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Vera is survived by her two sons, Ron and Dennis; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
